This poster collection consists of a series of simple, elementary shapes. Rectangular and geometric. The series plays with shadow and depth. The harsh shadows create something new, a second layer, a shift in perspective. The shapes are captured in moments where objects and their shadows coincide. The shadows create new objects, strange combinations that seem to transcend the flat surface. Escher-esque images, but with the clarity of Dick Bruna. The colors are solid but never harsh. The blacks are deep, but never dominant.
